Below are our most frequently asked questions (faqs) and general information about the Memorobilia Pack Company:

What is a memorabilia pack?

A memorabilia pack is a collection of paper replicas. In the case of a football club, we would reproduce items such as match programmes, newspapers, player's rule books, itineraries, tickets, brochures... really anything that the ordinary supporter rarely gets the chance to read.

How do we do it?

Every job is different. In the case of football clubs our remit is to source material via our network of contacts and collectors of memorabilia throughout the UK. The borrowed material is then scanned, replicated and packaged according to the club's requirements.

Over the years we have experimented with different printing techniques in order to achieve the highest possible quality reproduction. Indeed our copies are so convincing that we have to print the word “replica” in order to identify them from the real thing.

Many original items are irreplaceable.
Do they ever get damaged or lost?

No. This is a key concern and consequently we are exceptionally careful when borrowing items. They are scanned on flat bed scanners, and originals returned in person, We can honestly say that not one item has ever been damaged or lost since we began in 1994.

How many packs do you have to print per job?

Every project is different, so it is impossible to say. In order to keep unit costs down we have to print a reasonable amount. Generally speaking, it is not worth doing less than 2,000 packs per job.

What about copyright?

All items we reproduce have been cleared by the appropriate owners, though it can occasionally be a grey area - “if in doubt, leave it out ” is our motto.
